Fire crews from Bodmin and Liskeard are currently en-route to reports of a road traffic collision with people trapped. The information received suggests that the A38 is blocked and drivers are urged to avoid the area.

Update 1355hrs: One fire appliance from Bodmin, one fire appliance from Liskeard and a supervisory officer are now in attendance. The fire crews have confirmed that no persons are trapped and they are assisting the casualties and making the vehicles safe.
