Fire In Flat

One fire appliance from Liskeard and one fire appliance from Callington attended a report from a neighbour of smoke coming from a window of a property. The fire crews reported that a first floor flat, measuring three metres by two metres, was smoke-logged. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the flat and extinguished the fire inside using one hosereel. The fire crews remained on scene checking that the fire had not spread and to determine the cause of the fire.
The British Red Cross Fire Emergency Support Service (FESS) attended from Plymouth to offer support to the occupants.
