Horse Rescued From River
Tywardreath Marsh, St Andrews Road, Tywardreath, between St Austell and Fowey at 07/04/2013 16:56
One fire appliance from Fowey, one fire appliance from St Austell, a specialist water rescue team from St Austell and a specialist line rescue team from Bodmin attended a report of a horse that was trapped in a river. Firefighters wearing drysuits worked hard to release the horse from the river by 1745hrs. The horse was then led to safety and left in care of the owner and a vet.
