Property Fire
Between Liskeard and Quethiock at 17/04/2013 20:55
Two fire appliances from Liskeard and one fire appliance from Callington are in attendance at a property fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using one jet and one hosereel to extinguish a fire in a two-storey cottage, measuring eight metres by ten metres.
The British Red Cross Fire & Emergency Support Service from Plymouth is in attendance supporting the occupant.
Update 2345hrs: Firefighters are still in attendance damping down. Western Power Distribution engineers have isolated the electricity supply to make safe.
Update 0200hrs: One fire appliance from Liskeard remains in attendance dealing with hotspots.
Update 0330hrs: Firefighters have now left the scene and an investigation into the cause of the fire will continue later this morning.
