Chimney Fire

On receipt of this call stating of a chimney fire, and with the knowledge that the premises comprises of a thatched roof, two appliances from Falmouth were mobilised, on arrival it was confirmed that the fire was confined to the chimney, Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel continued to extinguish the fire from the roof of the premises, gaining access using ladders and then using a high pressure hosereel, thermal image camera and hearth kit.
