Bamboo Fire

The Fire Service received a call to a fire in hedgerow on Woodland Road, St Austell. One appliance from St Austell was mobilised and on arrival found an area of bamboo on fire.
Crews use one hosereel to extinguish the fire which they deemed was suspected arson. Police were informed of this incident.
