Eleven firefighters from Launceston attended a call to a premise where black smoke was coming from its door. On their arrival, crews found a number of items in a rear courtyard alight, the fire had spread from the outside courtyard via an external vent into the premise. Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hosereel. Fire damage in the property was minimal. A fire investigation team has been at the premise this afternoon investigating the cause of the fire.
