On receipt of this call, resources from St. Keverne were mobilised, on arrival the crews found a detached single storey bungalow measuring approximately ten metres by ten metres well alight, further resources were requested and crews from Mullion were mobilised.

Update 04:15 hours: Teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are deployed and two main jets are in use.

Update 04:45 hours: Teams of firefighters are deployed and using two main jets and a high pressure hosereel.

Update 06:00 hours: The main fire has been extinguished, crews are still monitoring the property using a thermal image camera and damping down hotspots using a high pressure hosereel. Fire Investigation is in progress to determine the cause of the fire.

Update 07:00 hours: The fire appliances have now all left the scene. Fire investigators are continuing to determine the cause of the fire.

In total, just over twenty firefighters tackled this blaze. There were no occupants in the building at the time of the fire.
