The Fire Service received a call to a chalet on fire on a farm property. Two appliances from St Dennis and one from St Austell and a wholetime Officer also mobilised.

On attendance the crews made an additional appliance from Truro and a water carrier from Wadebridge, a further wholetime officer also attended.

The crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 1 main jet, 2 hosereels and monitors on a single storey domestic dwelling 6m x 6m adjacent to the main building. Ambulance also attended to deal with two casualties with smoke inhalation.

Crews used two thermal imaging cameras to check on hotspots. All appliances have now returned to their home stations.
