On receipt of this call, stating that an alarm was sounding and there was a smell of smoke coming from a flat, two appliances from Truro were mobilised, on arrival the crew classified the incident as 'persons reported' and smoke issuing, the fire was on the ground floor of a two storey block of flats measuring approximately 20 metres by 20 metres, the fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a high pressure hosereel, all persons were accounted for, the thermal image camera was used also the positive pressure fan to ventilate the property. The cause was accidental.
