One appliance from Saltash and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised to this incident after a call was received from Devon & Cornwall Police. The incident involved a collision between a car and a lorry. Upon arrival at the scene, there was one person confirmed deceased, who was trapped in the car. Crews were detained for a considerable time while accident investigators inspected the scene. The body was extracted from the vehicle by Brigade personnel using crash rescue equipment.
