Road Traffic Collision Person Trapped

One appliance from St Austell Community Fire Station and the specialist Rescue Tender from Bodmin Fire Station were mobilised to a two vehicle road traffic collision with one casualty trapped. The crews worked using crash rescue equipment to release the occupant from the vehicle who was then placed in the care of ambulance personnel. A Sea King helicopter was then deployed to convey the casualty to hospital.
