At 12:00 hrs Cornwall fire and Rescue service attended a call to a two vehicle road traffic collision where a pedestrian had also been involved. Five firefighters in a fire appliance and six in a Rescue Tender from Bodmin were mobilised. Crews used crash rescue equipment and hydraulic pressure lifting equipment to free one casualty trapped in a car, once extricated the casualty was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance. A second pedestrian casualty was taken to hospital via land ambulance.
