Fire firefighters from St Dennis and five firefighters on a Rescue Tender from Bodmin attended a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A30 this evening. One vehicle had left the road and gone down the embankment. Crews assisted Ambulance paramedics with a spine board freeing one person trapped in one vehicle, a second casualty was out of the vehicle on crews arrival. As a result of this incident the A30 was closed as damage to the central reservation and crash barrier on the A30 occured as a result of this incident.
