Firefighters from Falmouth and Camborne worked together with coastguard and ambulance teams to rescue an injured casualty from the trailer of an articulated lorry. Paramedics tended to the casualty and with the help of fire and coastguard crews he was placed on a stretcher and safely lifted out using ladders and ropes. The casualty was then conveyed to hospital by ambulance.

This incident is a good example of how the emergency services work effectively together, when people in Cornwall need help.
