Fire In Washing Machine

Two fire appliances from Liskeard Community Fire Station were mobilised to a report of a washing machine on fire. When crews arrived the fire was out on arrival, they then removed the washing machine from the kitchen to the outside. The female occupant of the property suffered slight smoke inhalation and the crew administered oxygen therapy to the casualty whilst awaiting the attendance of the ambulance. There are no further details on this incident.
