Road Traffic Collision - Two Casualties Released

Two fire appliances from St Austell and two rescue tenders from Bodmin attended the scene of a road traffic collision, where a car was left in a precarious position down an embankment. Two people were trapped in the overturned vehicle.
Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and then used crash rescue and line rescue equipment to safely extricate the first casualty by 0530hrs and the second casualty a short time later. Both casualties were left in care of ambulance personnel.
