Fire In Flat

Two pumping appliances from Newquay attended a fire in the lounge of a first floor flat in Listry Road, Newquay.
Crew arrived at the scene with smoke issuing from the building. 1 casualty was rescued by Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service and crew extinguished the fire using 4 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel Jet and 1 Covering Jet. A Ventilation Fan and Thermal Imaging Camera were also used.
The casualty is in the hands of West Country Ambulance Service and their condition is unknown to Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.
