2 pumping appliances from Callington attended a rescue this evening where a springer spaniel dog was trapped approximately 10 feet down a wet mine shaft on a ledge in the Minion area of Liskeard.

Crew used a Triple Extension Ladder and Rope Rescue Equipment to retrieve the dog which was handed back to its owner.
