Appliances from St Columb and Newquay were mobilised to a fire which was threatening a property. Fortunately an off duty On-Call Firefighter was near by and extinguished the fire using a hose pipe before the arrival of the Fire Appliances. Crews inspected the fire scene on their arrival.
