On receipt of this call, one appliance from Launceston was mobilised, further calls were received stating that an explosion was heard, on arrival there was found to have been a hedge fire which crews extinguished using a high pressure hosereel, the cause was arson. Devon & Cornwall Police attended and investigated a small explosion in the vicinity. Police are making further enquires regarding a vehicle that was seen leaving the area.
