Wooden Conservatory Fire

At 02:14 several calls were recieved to a fire in a conservatory to the rear of a house on Grenville road, Falmouth. Two appliances from Falmouth with a total of eleven firefighters atteneded the scene. Crews entered the building initially wearing two breathing apparatus with one hose reel, the fire had fully developed as the conservatory was made of wood. A main jet was also in use. The ground floor of the premise measured 8 x 4 metres and the fire spread from the conservatory into the houses kitchen. At 02:38 four breathing apparatus and a thermal imagaing camera was in use alongside a hose reel and main jet being supplied with water from a hydrant. Am Ambulance was requested to attend to treat the properties three occupants for smoke inhalation and shock. Services to the premise were isolated and at 02:52 breathing apparatus teams had been withdrawn, Ambulance paramedics were also in attendance at this time. The cause of the fire is unknown currently, Cornwall Fire and Rescue service will be carrying out a fire investigation later this morning to establish the origin of the fire.
