Greenhouse Fire Involving Cylinders

On receipt of a number of calls, fire control mobilised two appliances from Bude and a wholetime officer to reports of a greenhouse on fire with cylinders involved.
On crews arrival they found one greenhouse approximately 10m x 5m well alight, crews used two breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to extinguish the fire. Three cylinders were confirmed to have been involved in the fire, one butane and two propane. A thermal image camera was used to check the temperature of the cylinders, which were then removed from the fire and cooled using a jet. This is all the information we have on this incident.
