Fire crews from Bodmin and Lostwithiel attended a fire in a bedroom of a terraced bungalow. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to clear the smoke. Two occupants, who were suffering the effects of smoke inhalation, were left in care of ambulance personnel.
Arson is suspected and a joint police and fire investigation is underway.
