Two appliances from Bude and a whole time officer were mobilised to a reported bedroom fire in a property in Marhamchurch. On arrival crews found one semi detached property approximately 10 meters by 10 meters with the first floor bedroom well alight. Four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one covering jet were used to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for fire spread in surrounding bedrooms and loft space. The cause of the fire was accidental and the fire was confined to the bedroom. This is all the information we have on this incident.
