Assistance Given To Colleagues In Devon

Following a request for assistance from colleagues in Devon, one appliance from Callington attended a large fire involving chemicals in an industrial unit. The crew returned to station at 2220hrs. If further details are required, please contact Devon Fire and Rescue Service.
During this incident an appliance from Saltash provided fire cover for part of Plymouth, the crew returning at 1918hrs and an appliance from Launceston provided fire cover for the Tavistock area returning at 2305hrs.
