Two appliances and an officer from Falmouth are currently in attendance at a fire in a row of garages. The initial call, received at 18:37 stated that a car was alight inside a garage in a block in the area of Longfield.
On arrival crews confirmed smoke was issuing from the garage and initially used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one jet to enter. Breathing apparatus was increased to four and foam was also used to extinguish the fire which is believed to have spread into the next garage.
Firefighters have extinguished all flames and are currently removing roof tiles to expose any hotspots.
