Gorse Fire On Cliffs

Five crew from Newquay attended a call to a small gorse fire on the Barrowfield in Newquay. Crews used a hose reel to douse the area on fire, however the fire is on an area of cliff fenced off and so the fire has been left to smoulder in some areas. Calls continue to be recieved to this area, crews will monitor the situation over night.
