On receipt of this call from Devon & Cornwall Police, stating that persons were trapped within a vehicle, appliances from Truro and St. Austell, also the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival it was confirmed that fortunately no persons were trapped, the vehicle had been in a collision with a large tree blocking the road, Westcountry Ambulance were in attendance and treated one casualty. The road was completely blocked. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were in attendance.
