At 2113 hrs Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call to a horse stuck in a bog, which the owner believed may have been stuck for some time. A crew from Falmouth attended the incident and used shovels, sand lances and ropes to release the horse. The rescue was difficult and took about 3 hours. A vet was in attendance and the crew remained on scene for some time after the horse was released to assist. There is no further information on this incident.
