Five crews, three from Looe two from Lostwithiel attended a 25 metre gorse fire. It was extremely difficult to gain access to the area but eventually they managed to tackle the flames using beaters. It took two hours to extinguish, and they also returned later to check that any hot spots hadn't reignited.
