At 09:07 the Service received a call to a persons reported fire call in the St Ives area.

On receipt of this call two appliances from St Ives were mobilised along with an appliance from Penzance the Aerial Ladder Platform from Truro and the Red Cross Vehicle.
On arrival crews used two breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet when making access to the smoke-logged residential property. The small fire was confined and accidental and was located in the bedroom on the first floor of the three storey building measuring 20 metres by 20 metres.

West Country Ambulance administrated oxygen therapy to the one female casualty that suffered smoke inhalation and Devon & Cornwall Police were also in attendance.
