Fire In Living Room

Crews from St Collumb, St Dennis and Newquay were mobilised to reports of a property fire in St Collumb. On arrival crews found a terraced house 5m x 6m with a fire in the ground floor living room. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hosereel and a covering jet to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was accidental and confined to the living room. The Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Vehicle was also in attendance providing assistance to the homeowner. Police and ambulance were also in attendance.
