At 05:00 this morning a call was received from a hotel stating that there had been a water leak in the bar overnight, as a result the fridges were smoking as water had entered the appliances. Twelve firefighters in two appliances from Falmouth attended the hotel. On scene the electricity and water supply to the bar was isolated, crews assisted in bailing the area out and investigated the smell of smoke to confirm there was no fire.
