At 0059 hours the FRS received a call to a reported fire in a derelict building measuring about 60 metres by 10 metres. Fire Crews attended from the following fire stations, Camborne, Redruth, Falmouth, Helston, Truro, St Just, Perranporth, Truro, St Ives and St Dennis. (eight pumping plus specialist appliances) Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are used two hose reels and one jet.

1 Pumping Appliance from Camborne has remained at scene damping down. A fire investigation will take place this morning.

Police were at the scene.
