A crew of eleven firefighters on two appliances and the water carrier, all from Helston Community Fire Station, attended a gorse fire in the grounds of the Penrose Estate in Helston. They used a hosereel and two jets to extinguish the fire, which was approximately 50 square meters in the trees and undergrowth. The cause of the fire is believed to be arson.
