One appliance from Launceston was mobilised to investigate the alarms sounding, on arrival crews confirmed a caravan fire and a further appliance from Launceston was mobilised, no persons were involved, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the caravan with a high pressure hosereel to extinguish the fire. The interior of the caravan was severely damaged, the crews were delayed making the scene safe and damping down. The cause was accidental.
