Fire On Cooker Hob

Two fire appliances from Bude Community Fire Station attended a report of a plastic basket on fire. The basket had accidentally been placed on top of a hot cooker hob. Prior to the arrival of the fire crews, the basket had been removed outside and had burnt itself out. The firefighters ensured that the scene was safe and administered oxygen to two of the occupants who were suffering mild effects of smoke inhalation. The occupants were left in care of paramedics.
