At 05:10 this morning, several calls were received to a shed on fire. Nine firefighters from Callington on two appliances were mobilised, a second call was received stating two sheds were on fire and there were two cars also being threatened so a second major appliance with six firefighters from Saltash were mobilised by Fire Control. Crews attended the fire which, on crew’s arrival the fire had spread from the sheds to involve two cars. Crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the sheds which measured 3 x 8 m and 3 x 2 m. At this time the cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious.
