We are currently in attendance at a fire at waste disposal site. On scene at this time are three pumping appliances one from St Columb, one from Newquay and one from Padstow a water carrier from Wadebridge and an aerial ladder platform from Newquay. Crews are dealing with three seats of fire using four hosereel jets and small tools.
This is likely to be a protracted incident there will be further updates posted here during the evening.

Update: At 22:48. Slow progress is being made. Two appliances, the Aerial Ladder Platform and a Water Carrier are remaining on scene until the morning. A further update will be added then.

Final Update: Relief crews from Lostwithiel, Perranporth, Wadebridge and Truro continued to damp down the fire during the night and the last fire crew left the scene at 0400hrs.
