Car In Floodwater - Two People Carried To Safety

One fire appliance from Falmouth Community Fire Station attended a report of a car stuck in floodwater with two occupants inside. Firefighters carried the two occupants to safety and removed the car that was stuck in about two feet of standing floodwater, covering approximately a 50 metre length of the road.

Safety Advice:
Please do not attempt to drive through flooded roads or fords. The water is often deeper than it looks and may be moving quite fast. Your vehicle may be swept away or become stranded. Driving in the dark is particularly hazardous due to the water being more difficult to see. For further advice on flooding, please follow the link below.
