Crews from Delabole and Wadebridge along with a whole time officer were mobilised to reports of a boiler that had exploded, during the call the smoke alarm could be heard sounding in the background. On arrival crews found a fire on the ground floor of a two storey house measuring 10 metres by 10 metres, crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. A Positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the property of smoke. The cause of the fire was accidental; this is all the information we have on this incident.
