Fire Detection Dog Assists Fire Investigators In Devon

Nelson, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service's fire detection dog, was requested to assist Fire Officers in the investigation of the cause of a fire that has severely damaged a kitchen of a flat in Plymouth. He is trained to sniff out the presence of flammable and ignitable liquids that could have been used to start or promote a fire deliberately.
