At 1800 this evening Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service received a call from the Ambulance control to a road traffic collision where a car had hit a telegraph pole. Two crews from Bude attended and an appliance from Holsworthy also attended this incident. On arrival the crew found one person to be trapped in the vehicle. Crash rescue equipment was used to extricate the casualty, who is now in the care of Westcountry Ambulance Service. There is no further information on this incident.
