On reports of smoke in the attic of a property, appliances from Falmouth and Camborne were mobilised, on arrival it was found that there had been a fire in the airing cupboard, which was fortunately out on arrival, crews inspected the area using a thermal image camera and declared that everything was then safe. There were smoke detectors in the property, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Personnel proceeded to fit an extra detector.
