On receipt of this call, both appliances from Launceston were mobilised, on arrival the crews found the ground floor of an end terraced house under construction well alight, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereels and a jet to extinguish the fire, crews were detained damping down and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the premises.
