Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service is currently dealing with a property fire in St Austell. Crews from St Austell, Mevagissey, Fowey, St Dennis, Lostwithiel, Bodmin and Launceston are in attendance. The aerial ladder platform is currently in use fighting the fire at this incident.
Three appliances and the aerial ladder platform will remain on scene overnight.

Update 1000 hours: Building Control were requested to attend the incident to inspect the property for its stability.
A full Fire Investigation Team are in attendance and investigating at this time.
One appliance from Perranporth is on scene, one hosereel jet is in use damping down.

Update 1700 hours: Crews have been on site during the day damping down. The Fire Investigation Team have finished a preliminary search of the area, no results have been confirmed at this time, the area is continuing to be monitored at this time.
