Firefighters from Truro attended reports of smoke coming from under The Moorfield Carpark. On arrival in the service area of the car park crews found a large quantity of bedding and rubbish well alight and the area heavily smoke logged. Two breathing apparatus and a hosereel were used to extinguish the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to ventilate four store rooms. The cause of the fire was believed to be arson and Devon and Cornwall Police were also in attendance. This is all the information we have on this incident.
