At 0902 the Service received a call to a reported Jack Russell Terrier stuck in a hedge. On receipt of this call an Officer was initially mobilised to investigate and the dog was found to be stuck in a disused quarry. One appliance from Liskeard and the Line Rescue Vehicle from Bodmin Community Fire Station also attended. On arrival crews attempted to dig from above using small tools. The dog was successfully rescued with no serious injuries.
