Road Traffic Collision - Persons Trapped

A38, Saltash side of Trerulefoot Roundabout, between Liskeard and Saltash at 20/12/2013 18:27


One fire appliance from Saltash, one fire appliance from Liskeard and the rescue tender from Bodmin are in attendance at a road traffic collision with two people trapped in separate cars. Firefighters are using cutting gear to release the casualties.

Update 1915hrs: Firefighters have removed the roof from one of the cars and the casualty has been released. Fire crews are now working with the ambulance service to release the second casualty from the other car.

Update 1935hrs: The second casualty has been released and left in care of ambulance personnel. Fire crews are now assisting police with making the scene safe.

Udate 2000hrs: The fire crews have left the scene in care of Devon & Cornwall Police. If any further details are required, please contact them.
